This past weekend we headed off for a quick weekend getaway up to Hawkes Nest. It was Darren's birthday Saturday and this by far was such a great way to celebrate with our little family. We arrived Friday and came home Sunday. We spent the time at the beach and swimming in the pool, and enjoyed the nights treating ourselves to nice dinners and then coming home to play cards with the girls.
It was great way to relax and forget any of the regular day to day happenings our life brings.
