Day #9 ~ Getting Organized Challenge (Toy Organization)

Today's challenge was Toy Organisation, now I new I promised myself when this one came up I would tackle my Expedit. What I wanted from this was to create a place to house all the things the girls need for doing Homework, a place where it could all be kept neatly. Also it stores toys like our little people and lego. These are toys are don't mind getting out when we have lots of kids here, as it is easy to pack up and keep the kids out of the bedrooms.

The Expedit also is a place where I keep some of my scrapbook albums and my Project Life ( this years is still not unpacked form the box). I also wanted a spot for mine and Darren's books and Magazine's.

Here is the very embarrassing Before. Seriously what is going on with this

This box is where the girls will put their homework folders and also Kasey's speech folder

I love this little lazy susan I found to keep all the pencils and texta's

And the Toy baskets with my awesome chalk board labels that I am so loving.

I am pleased with how this turned out, the girls don't go back to school till the end of January so then the test will be when they start getting homework and we will then see how functional this space is. There is also still one basket empty and one cubby. Unfortunately this is not all our toys the rest are in the girls rooms. But that is another days work.
