Day #7 ~ Getting Organized Challenge (The Pantry)

Monday, January 10, 2011

Ok I know I can count and yes I haven't done challenge 6 yet, I am hoping getting to get that done today. My good friend super organised friend came up last Monday whilst our hubbies were at the cricket and helped me do the pantry, she kept me from getting to stressed.  So on with my mammoth post of the Pantry, this one really excites me. I have a great size pantry, but boy is it an odd shape, it has annoying corners where stuff gets hidden. I feel like I am always cleaning it out and it is forever out of control. Alright on with The before and Afters.

Before

 Top shelf

How embarrassing

 Look at that chaos

On to pulling it all out and sorting

I am hoping to have some small grocery bills we had so much food in the cupboard
 Sorting Snacks into baskets

After

Look at that Organisation

I heart baskets and my gorgeous chalkboard oil cloth tags I got of Etsy

I am in love

cans and jars

Tupperware

the throw out pile.

Wow what a post. 1 week on and the pantry is still looking just as great. A few little changes for the better. I also have some more labelling to do with some awesome chalkboard stickers I bought on Saturday. I will do a separate post on that. Thanks for all the great comments.
